Enrolment
There are a range of sessions available for parent(s) to choose from. We will endeavour to meet the individual needs of all families and sessions can be flexible.
These include:
-
8:30am-12:30pm - Morning session
-
1:00pm- 4:00pm - Afternoon session
-
8:30am-4:00pm - Full day
Meet and Greet: We introduce new children and parent(s) to our nursery firstly through a ‘Meet and Greet' session. This provides the opportunity to share information about your child and discuss any questions you may have.
Stay and Play: Children are then provided with a ‘Stay and Play’ session, whereby they can stay for a short session and explore the nursery before they begin. The children will then be given their start date to embark on their nursery journey.
Key Person: Once your child has enrolled at the nursery and has settled in during their first few weeks, they will be assigned a key worker. The role of the key person is to ensure that your child’s care is tailored to meet their individual needs and to build strong relationships with both you and your child.
Funding
At the nursery we are happy to accept both Early Education Funding (EEF) and Time for Two’s funding (Tf2s), dependent upon space and availability.
Two year olds: Parent(s) can receive free childcare for a two year old if you receive certain benefits, if your child has a statement of special educational needs, or if they have been looked after by the local authority. If you are eligible, you can get 15 hours of free childcare a week for 38 weeks a year (570 hours in total).
Three and four year olds: All three and four year olds can get 15 hours of free childcare a week for 38 weeks a year (570 hours in total) until the child starts reception year at school. Some parent(s) might be able to get an additional 15 hours, giving you a total of 30 hours a week for 38 weeks a year (1140 hours in total).
